| The user interface, however, is very different. It has been designed to simplify system setup and operation so that new or infrequent users can easily use the system without training. The complex menu tree found in S2's more advanced platforms is replaced in the Pronto by icon buttons sized appropriately for use with touch screens. And, an advanced home page displays the system activity log, a shortcut menu for one-click access to the most commonly used functions, and a new auto-monitor that watches the system for the user. The auto-monitor features zero-click technology - just a mouse gesture displays detail for each event in its list.
Numerous other features of Pronto make it exceptionally easy to install and use. Wizards guide system setup, doing the tedious work of defining inputs, oututs, and readers, and commonly needed access levels are set up automatically. Pronto systems, once installed, can be up and running literally in mintues. |
