NetTech Integrator Training Certifies its 1200th Trainee

November 2009: The S2 NetTech training course passed a major milestone this month, certifying its 1200th trainee.

The S2 NetTech course is a laboratory-style, hands-on training program for certified S2 systems integrators.  The two-day course covers the installation, setup, and maintenance of S2’s security management systems products.  The course is offered in Natick Massachusetts at least once each month.  It also travels periodically, and has been delivered all over the world from Europe to Asia, to the Middle East.

Just as the S2 product line is dynamic, with product enhancements and new features entering with each new version, the NetTech course is also continuously updated.  Rich Ames, who has taught the course for the past two years observed, “I frequently revise the course content to cover new functionality in the products.  That way the trainees are always current.”  In addition to training, Ames collects suggestions about future product changes from the participants.  Many of those suggestions eventually show up as product enhancements.
