Whereas previous generation systems require PCs servers with complex operating systems and moving hard disks, S2 NetBox systems embed a Linux or Unix operating system and operate on solid state hardware. There are no moving parts in an S2 NetBox system - it will run unattended for years, making it perfect for all facilities where IT staff is unavailable or overburdened.

The solid state network controller or S2NC that is the server in the S2 NetBox may not look like a typical computer, but it runs the full suite of S2 NetBox software and connects with the full line of S2 NetBox field hardware, And, it is designed to fit right into your IT environment - large or small with features like:
